Good morning everyone,
Just a quick heads up that I am the guest on this month’s FujiLove Podcast. We talked about defining our photographic styles (or rather, not defining them), inspiration and motivation, why we pursue photography, why we shoot Fujifilm and of course about this gear that we love so much.
You can find the podcast here (it is episode 20):
https://fujilove.com/fuji-love-podcast/
…and of course on iTunes and other assorted places too.
If you aren’t already following FujiLove I highly recommend doing so. It is a wonderful community of people (both on the website and on the Facebook group) that offers a lot of free content to its readers. Additionally, there is a paid option that provides a beautiful monthly magazine and educational videos. FujiLove also hosts workshops around the world… they really are doing great things for the community.
Cheers,
Ian
Great show. I’ve heard you interviewed in Valerie Jardin’s podcast as well and always learn things. Thanks for all of the great info and fun, Ian. Cheers!
Many thanks for the kind words!
Thanks for an interesting podcast, Ian. I like your ‘style’ – and your images too, of course!
I know I’ve asked you this before but for the life of me I can’t find your reply. My question is: in your street B&W photos, which in- camera settings do you use, if any – e.g., highlights, shadow, etc.? I’m assuming it’s Acros – red, green or yellow? I normally shoot with an X Pro2 and 23 F2.
Thanks – I appreciate your help.
Hello Luis!
Acros + R and Classic Chrome are my go to film simulations for street photography. I usually keep the tone curve fairly flat in camera, maybe a slight push on the shadows, then make my adjustments in post.
Cheers,
Ian
Thanks, Ian, I appreciate it.
